Carbohydrate Free Diet: What Are The Risk Of Avoiding Carbohydrate Completely!

Why are we trying to avoid carbohydrate in our diet? The answer is simple we want to lose weight.

It is said that too much of carbohydrate in the body is bad and it seriously contribute to obesity. No doubts about that, carb have some elements that contribute to weight gain.

And because people want to lose weight and live a healthy life, they want to do away to carbohydrate or minimize it to the smallest in their body. According to my research, you will need some decent amount of carbohydrate in your body system for it to perform better.

Carbohydrate is not as bad as people think but taking too much of it is what I think is bad. Nevertheless, you need to also know that carbohydrates have some benefit to the body. I usually tell people around me that it is not easy to completely do away with carbohydrate.

There are some fruits and foods that contain carbohydrate such as grains, fruits, vegetables, milk, nuts, seeds, and legumes. You have to also know that food manufacturers add refined carbohydrate to processed foods in the form of flour and sugar.

Although the carbohydrate found in the above mentioned foods are simple carbohydrate which can also be found in white bread, pasta, cookies, cake, candy and sugar – sweetened soda and drinks. So I am using this opportunity to tell you that it is not easy to completely do away with carbohydrates.

What are the risks of drastically cut carbohydrate out of your diet?

There are some certain risks that are associated with not eating enough carbohydrate. You may experience bad breath, weakness, fatigue, headache, constipation and diarrhea.
